Agápe Retreats, LLC

Agápe Retreats, LLC is a privately owned business focused on providing opportunities for spiritual and personal growth in out-of-doors settings. Currently, we operate the Agápe Retreat Center outside of Newark, Ohio, in Licking County. This is a facility popular with faith-based, scouting, and non-profit organizations. Agápe News and Updates

You may want to check out our news link and read about the progress in the 2004 storm damage repair saga. The main lodge at Agápe is currently open. The roof has received temporary repairs which has limited the water leaks to a few places that can be easily avoided. We welcome you to call and make inquiries about availability in both the Agápe and Faith Lodges.

Your Hosts, Keith and Cheryl Johnson

Keith and Cheryl Johnson started Agápe Retreats, LLC in April 2003. We purchased 'Camp Agápe' in May 2003 and renamed it Agápe Retreat Center. We come from a tradition of outdoor and retreat ministry, mainly through the United Methodist Church in Ohio. As we follow God's Call in outdoor ministry, we hope to provide space and opportunity for connecting with our Creator. We look forward to being your hosts.
